When you copy files to a CD-R or CD-RW disk by using the CD/DVD recording support that is built into Windows , the files are first copied to a temporary location, and then a disk image file is created.
Empty the files from the following location on your computer.
C:\users\username(John)\appdata\local\Microsoft\windows\burn This is for Wind 7 user
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\CD Burning\ This is for Xp and Vista user
Once you delete the files, restart the computer.
Cheers

Thats not fixed it either, it seems to be happening when you open any program and hook any usb up to the laptop
