deleting files doesnt free space

HI please could someone help me with a problem im having I was running very how on hard drive space so i deleted a load of files then emptied my recycle bin but it hasnt made any space on my hard drive!! I look in the recylce bin and the files arnt there is there any program i can use to fully get rid of them and get my space back

Have you tried closing and opening your windows explorer again ……. some explorers don’t show the changes until you close then open them up again.
If you bin files then empty the bin the space normally shows up, but if you can still see the files in your explorer tree then try Unlocker to get rid of them.
Try running chkdsk C: /f (where C: is the drive you are talking about) and see if that helps.
It’s a bad idea to totally fill up your HD because any defragmenter needs some free space in order to work properly.

Use CCleaner and keep your disk on defrag
