Cracked XP not recognizing network card (already dl drivers)

Coded for you this time- It’s a nice copy and I’m dual booting it with Ubuntu Hardy but for some reason I can get Ubuntu to read my network card but not XP. There’s nothing in the Network Connections folder of XP and even when I install the Broadcom BCM4311 (rev 02) network card drivers for windows it says it can’t recognize any device that the drivers need. So how do I get online with this version of XP?

You don’t have the right driver then. Go to the motherboard manufacturer site, there should be the right one.
