Could a DVR extender be used as a regular external HD?

Looking at that, its a WD External HDD.. The connection is eSATA. If your case has a eSATA port, then yes, you can use it. If not, you can probally (buy) a esata to USB converter. If that won’t work, you can always strip the case, and use the HDD as an internal HDD.. that’s a decent price.. If you NEED to use it as an external, you can easily get an external HDD shell for like.. 10 bucks, not even lol.
