first, the display of the icons is not showing…second when i open my computer the left panel is not there no more how can i put it back?
I have a solution to the My Computer problem. Go to My computer, click on Tools and then click on Folder Options. In the General tab, mark the tick box which says “Show Common tasks in Folders” and then click Apply and Ok. For the other problem, im not quiet sure what it is. Maybe u clicked on some kind of file virus which corrupts all ur .exe programs and makes them all shortcuts which wont work. I dont know. Try installing all those programs from scratch and see if that works.
for your second problem, tools>folder options>general>tasks>show common tasks
not so sure about the 1st, never happened to me
