ad-hoc setup || computer-to-computer WiFi

so I want to set up an ad-hoc connection, me and a friend want to be directly connected through wireless without an access point, we want to play LAN games it is possible? and my notebook has vista and his notebook has xp … would that be a problem connecting to each other? and can a 3 notebook connect ?
i would like some fast answers if it’s possible xD, i’m asking because i never tried the ad-hoc thing

of course its possible shoulb be no problem

It is possible…
But it is a bit harder, since you run Vista and your friend XP..
Vista and Vista works great…
Just try to create ad hoc in connections panel (create in vista, it is much easier), then connect from XP
It is possible to connect more than 2 computers
