compatibility of graphic card

Hey guys just purchased a new GC for my PC..now i need to know if its compatible with my motherboard or not
I have Asus motherboard P5N-MX & new Graphic card Nvidia GTX 260 extreme + Any site for this??

yes it’ll be compatible. Just make sure you have good PSU to power that GTX260

though you may wanna consider upgrade. what is your RAM’s speed as this motherboard supports 800MHz DDR2 on O.C.

For power i have cooler master 500watt
N i dnt know abt RAm speed (m noob ) but i have 2×2 RAMs.
When i plugged my monitor with Graphic card,screen remained blank..an anybody tell me why is that?? I have to switch on with previous monitor port.
I have heard that if GC are not properly fixed in PCI slot,monitor dosent work,is that true???

I think you have not connected the power cables………
please check again…

Make sure it is seated properly and power cable connector is properly plugged. Also I believe you may want to change settings in BIOS but have not much experience about it

Okay m checking if its seated properly..n also power cords..
BTW could you guys tell me whre can i check the compatibility??
