Help For Graphic card..
August 27th, 2013
Tried Google – ing But Was not able to get much so pls try to help me..
I have An Intel Dg41rq Motherboard…
Want To get a Graphic card But unable To understand A few Things…
One Is as it states on Intel site that i have one PCI Express x16 slot it doesn’t mention whether its 2.0 or 2.1 less then that…
SO I was Looking for GFX cards Like
Sapphire 5670,XFX 5570 ,Sapphire 6670 zotac 440gt these most need 2.0 so whether it will support my Motherboard or not…
another Question is Unable to calculate the power supply properly…
my system SMPS read as 230VAC 50/60hz
Dc output +3.3v = 25A , +5V = 32A, +12V = 17A ,-12v = 0.8A
where the gfx card requrires 450 Watts..
Any Help Would be Appreciated…
It wont matter if it’s PCI-E 2.0 or not, it wont effect you in any way.
Any of the cards you mentioned will be 100% fine.
PCI express is backwards and forwards compatible. Your PSU is ridiculous (and so is your typing).
@jock Thanks Dude by any chance can u tell whether i would be able to play Battelfield 3 and COD:Modern warfare 3..
@-paroxysM not so good details as u mention it backwards and forwards compatible ?
and lol for the sarcasm i knew abt my typing but not abt my PSU
I can’t say what your performance would be like in those games without knowing what the rest of the spec of your pc is and what resolution you run games in.
I will say that with even a reasonable core 2 duo 2gb ddr2 and a 720p resolution you should be able to play those games at good settings.
Thanks A lot screen resolution is 1360×768 sick monitor but got a HDTV to play games is get HD Gfx card
and core 2 duo @2.93 GHZ , 4 gb ram and
Hopefully my last Q any recommendation from the above card or any other you can think of in 80-90$ budget or which company to go with XFX , ZOTAC, MSI OR Sapphire
Your power supply sounds like a generic brand of around 450W.
If it is a fairly generic brand, it might not be able to deliver that power.
It might just give errors or shut down and in some cases it will blow up.
You might be able to get a cheap card and have a low resolution experience, plus lowered details on some games.
Best to save up and do a major upgrade.
