August 5th, 2016

My dad has got a C905 on Vodafone (with Voda Firmware) and apparently there is a problem with the WiFi as in it wont work (let you access the internet through local WiFi)
Will unlocking it (with a unbranded Firmware) fix this problem or will it still no work as it is a Vodafone simcard being used
Changing network is not a option as he is on 12 month Contract
Any help will be very gratefull!!

From what I understand, it’s the actual Vodafone branding which is causing the issue. I’ve got the C905 on Vodafone also. I’m looking into getting it debranded, as from what I’ve read that should solve the problem.

You download opera mini which is a internet platform and use it through your aplication’s after you connect to a wifi signal. Took me ages to find out how to do it, hope it work’s for you.

Vodafone ~ censored ~ up all the time when playing about with there firmware, they know they have done it yet still send it out. On the S.E X1 even if your on WiFi anything to do with window’s live goes through the 3G. Unbranding would fix it. Try se-nse.com very good forum and great help . Have any of you came across the bug of which the “3” button starts to do the same as the back key?
