best mpeg2 codec

i need a mpeg2 codec to play vob and mpgon computer mpg play but look bad and vob plays bad and no sound the videos use to look fine on computer 3 weeks ago i removed the klite and reinstalled and no change and i tryed the new vision nbothing works every other format of video works fine

DScaler is pretty good and so is ffdshow.

I use Gabest’s MPEG Codecs. DScaler5 is good too
It’s pretty hard to find nowadays so I uploaded

Thanks TheDA – it worked for me too – for some reason K-lite woudn’t play those on wmp- I reinstalled twice but it played them only on media payer classic – now everything is back to normal

No need, it can be got from Sourceforge but it does not include an installer, you would need to register it manually using regsvr32 after putting it in your system directory.
