Best Internet service provider in the USA?

Hello everyone,
So If everything goes ok i will be heading to the USA to continue my studies next year so I was wondering which and in which state is the best internet service provider in the USA? And how much would it cost ? And how fast is the speed? And thanks in advance~ :mrredhat:

so far the best is Verizon. I have RoadRunner!

Well I have used Verizon and Charter, I think for speed Verizon is better but Charter is cheap, so as you can guess I am using Charter!!

comcast??? really they throttle speeds, the whole p2p thing, and bandwidth limits…
i like verizon FiOS so far no caps or limits on anything.

They definitely don’t throttle speeds any more:

And, the bandwidth limit is 250GB. Unless, you download like 10GB, a day you should be fine.

They seem to have the same download speed but verizon has a higher upload speed of 20Mbps while comcast has 10Mbps
So i guess verizon wins with 50Mbps D/L Speed & 20Mbps upload speed. Any higher speeds though? (Just wondering)
