Battlefield 2 Punbuster Ban, no reason in sight! HELP PLZ!

Hello everyone.. I have downloaded Battlefield 2 Recently & an error has occured.
I cant join ANY cracked server (My cd-key is from the web), and the reason is a GUID BAN that punkbuster gives me!
Here is the error:
“Punkbuster permanent ban issued on this game server for player “..” … GLOBAL Punkbuster GUID BAN 602bc161″
Now, My friend got a cdkey from the web too, & he downloaded the game too.. but the game works for him fine! Whenever I log in a server, it loads the map.. And then bans me right away! But this dosn’t happen to my friend.
I realy need help, I have even updated the Punkbuster to the latest Version, but that dosn’t seem to work as well.

Firstly, Which BF2 version is it? Did you patch it? If you did, what patch did you install on it?
OK, well you said u downloaded the game and u got the cd key from the web, well thats the reason it wont work. Do you imagine how many ppl use the same cd key u got and maybe one of those ppl got it banned by hacking/cheating, thats why you cant use it and thats why it keeps on kicking you saying GUID ban. If you DIDNT patch the game (and the games version is at 1.0 or 1.1) then u can get past this GUID ban of yours. What a guid ban really is, is a banned cd key and there are ways to change your cd key to make it work. Firstly i need to know your game version, so go into bf2, login and on the top right corner you should see some numbers, thats your games version.

i know my version its 1.41, but i didn’t state it because in the 1.0 i had this exact problem too man )’: how come my friend dont have it? maybe his CD-Key was not used with cheats? :O
anyway thx for the info it helps alot, so what do u suggest from now on? & will i keep the ban on my ACCOUNT in BF2 or just with that cd-key?
is there a key-generator so 100% nobody used it?

Well if your game version is at 1.41, no keygen will help. If you take any key from a keygen it wont work because all the keys there are blacklisted and if you put it in 1.41, punkbuster will say “This cd key is in use” or “This cd key is invalid” something like that. The thing i suggest you to do is actually buy the game with a valid cd key OR if any of your friends have a valid cd key, ask them if you could borrow it and use it but the bad thing is, when you are playing with his cd key, it wont let him play and it will give the “This cd key is in use” error, Vice versa.
