Antivirus or Internet security?

Do I need both?
Does internet security provide a built in anti virus?
What is better, antivirus or internet security?

Weel, Internet Security is AV with a Website blocker(s) and Mail Client scanners (for Outlook, Thunderbird, etc). Some have Firewalls as well (Such as Kaspersky Internet Security).
It all depends on how you wana have things. KIS is a great AV scanner AND has a good Firewall. I personally have three seperate programs. As my Virus Scanner I have Avira, COMODO as my Firewall, and a few Malware scanners.

antivirus is just that, and antivirus program. internet security suites include the antivirus, but usualy include extras such as a firewall, email scanning and antispyware as well.
i would highly recommend an internet security suite over just antivirus

I use ESET NOD32 AV only and have Windows Security Center & Firewall disabled ……… I get about one problem in a year with that so I’m happy.

So Antivirus is about only for a computer who does not have Internet Connection(more infections),but “Internet Security” is for PCs with Internet so more protection options…got it ?

No. You need either an antivirus plus a standalone firewall or an internet security suite which offers its own firewall and some additional modules like link scanners, file shredders,etc.. And some on demand malware scanners like Malwarebytes’ Antimalware and Super Antispyware for both cases.

well internet security includes a firewall (sometimes) which can conflict with your main firewall so i recommend u take extra security and turn ur main firewall on.
