Need a good and effective antivirus with internet security!

Intel dualcore 2.6GHz

500GB SATA

What is the best antivirus software for me ?and it must have internet security most probably……!

I use Eset’s Nod32 as my primary AV, Comodo as Firewall, MS Essential as an on demand scanner. Also have Spybot, Malwarebytes and Superantispyware installed. I use a router with DDWRT firmware and I use Opendns

I have been researching for virus scans for a long time, nowadays people prefer “Kaspersky” I will not defy with them it is pretty good at detectin but it will slow down your machine… Few years ago, I don’t use anti-virus, i detect those pen drive viruses all by myself , nowadays people are smart enough to do that so there is nothing to be proud of myself.
But here�s my twisted story begun, one day I had clicked on a pendrive without checking my manually detection , as a result my computer got effect …From then I had started my research..Now here is a thought , in that case no antivirus can cure me but the challenge is to find out what is best… At that time AVG was free and most popular to use … So my first choice was AVG , which is still on the top of the Downloads.com…

I can see a virus but AVG can’t detect it… So bad…. uninstall-ed it..

Yes, well detected but i can’t run my windows any more.. kaspersky deleted some system files which detected as a virus .. Next thing , i know i had to open my pc using safe mode.. and resotre it

Detected as kaspersky(although some files are not same) but I hadn�t try to remove those virus using because I can do that after formated my windows � I simply formated my system drive and install my operating system again..
Consequently , my best choice is Anti-Avira. But there is no perfect Antivirus out there to check your every file specifily � What anti-viruses do is to find the chain in appliation of higher defination API and based on its activities antiviruses detect it as a low or high harful file(virus).

I have used quite a few and I like Kaspersky, but it does require a little bit more resources to run. The interface is really nice though. I hate antiviruses that look cheap for some reason.

I like ESET Smart security, it has everything, doesn’t bother you much, and I’ve never had a problem with a virus. With all new PCs that I set up I usually install ESET with it.

Kapersky Internet Security is my one-stop app and works GREAT! I never get any viruses, spyware, malware, etc.. and no need for 10 apps installed…
