About to pull my hair out trying to set up RAID config…

August 5th, 2016

I’ve tried x86 and x64 drivers straight from GIGABYTE’s website, for Win7 and WinVista, and I’m getting this message no matter what. I have my RAID set up in the BIOS, it’s recognized during the boot sequence…but I cannot for the life of me get the damn drivers to load.
Help?

Apparently this talks about a few SATA ports on a MB that aren’t supported by the latest OS/drivers.
Doubt this will help your situation though.
Just for my own curiosity what are the specs for your system?

Everything’s in my sig.
My board has 8 ports, 6 SATAII and 2 SATAIII. Nothing is plugged into the SATAIII ports and all the other drives I have connected to the SATAII ports are working just fine.
