Jack’s right – a number of factors.
Malnutrition, premature baldness, emotional distress, some “hidden” illness or organ failure.
Definitely see a doctor – if it’s innocuous then he’ll just go bald “before his time”, if it’s something else then catching it early might stop it.

Hair loss can be temporarily as permanently but ofcourse it’s so hard to tell what is the cause since we are not “doctors”. I had hair loss too but facial hair and had a few bald spots but it after a few months they went away. Sometimes it can take a year or more. The same happened with my brother-in-law but at him it was head hair.
Look it can caused by stress too. But what i wanted to ask is, is it bald spots or on his complete head?
