ABBYY edit a recipt then save it in pdf format not word format

Dear Expert

The attached document is a motel receipt I modified the date and then saved it as pdf format (why I chose this format in order no loose the format of the receipt (tables lines) ) but when I checked the pdf format I realized the date was not changed it remains as its origin
While if I save it as word document the date gets changed but saving in word format will get changed from its origin
Am I doing something wrong ? Is there a trick I should be aware of it ?
Thanks

Yes you can change text in a PDF and save it using ABBYY. Open the PDF in ABBYY in the split pane view and click on the text field you want to change on the left pane. Then then edit that text on the right pane (see photo below) and re-save the PDF using a different file name. But if the PDF is complicated, like your receipt is, you may run into editing problems and it may not come out looking natural. I suggest you use a PDF Editor instead. It will give you much cleaner results. The top two PDF Editirs are Foxit PhantomPDF Editor and Infix PDF Editor. Both have been cracked and available elsewhere here. Another PDF Editor is Master PDF Editor. You can try using that also.

This is not doable as you know we I scan the physical receipt it would be saved as image in pdf format even if you open that receipt in your favorite PDF Editor it won’t be editable,,,,right ?

What i have been doing open ABBYY choose the option “Scan to Microsoft word” then modify text on the right pane because left pane is not editable any way and save it with any name but still date didn’t get changed
Please don't spam-

Scan the physical receipt to PDF using OCR (Optical Character Recognition). Then it would be editable.
Also, have you tried Readiris?
