you have to downgrade and then update to a custom firmware so you can run .iso and .cso files.

I have a PSP slim, i have just payed a guy to downgrade it and install a custom firmware…
please elp
Answer #5
What firmware are you using first?
Answer #6
you need custom firmware or offical 1.50 sony firmware without these you have to get pandora’s battery since new psp’s are usally firmware 3.40+ i suggest buy one off ebay. once u downgraded and have custom firmware drag and drop the .cso files into the ISO folder in the main psp memory card. for ps1 games they go in game150 i think.
Answer #7
I use 3.40 OE-E i think something like that ive just got a iso folder and put it in there never had problems with it make sure ur using latest custom firmware so itll run the latest games example latest games wont work on say if there was a 2.0 OE-A cuz its emulayting 2.0 sony firmware and playing the isos and homebrew for tht and it isnt emulating the correct version to play tht game
Note:~love~ my hands hurt now!
Answer #8
Basically get new firmware that supports firmware backtracking for older and newer iso games, then you could play everything. Read the description then begin. I would try to get the latest Dark Alex’s firmwares. Try: http://www.psp-hacks.com/category/55
pspbrew.com
Here are some to beginn with, also try not to brick your psp

i have got CFW 3.71 M33-4 on my PSP SLIM, which i’ve updated to 3.71 before i’ve the custom firmware installed….sure hopes that not a problem. The guy who installed the custom firmware tested the installation with his own MS, which has Bomberman on it. My PSP showed that game just fine
I have tried copying the the folder where tje cso file onto “memory stick”\psp\game When i turn on the psp, it can see that there is something, but its corrupt data. I can see that you all keep mention an ISO folder. Is that a folder that you created on the memory stick and where is it located??
I really hope that oyu guys can help. Since there is no NFO files or kind of that stuff there comes with ISO for PC and Wii games.
Answer #10
It needs to be in X:\ISO
Answer #11
okay…so i need to make a folder called ISO on the root of the MS??
I’ll try that then..
So the path for the cso-games is x:\ISO\”game-folder”
and not x:\psp\game\iso\”game-folder”
Sorry for all the questions…but i’m very frustated
*******UPDATE******
Craked it :mrredhat: :mrredhat: :mrredhat: :mrredhat: the sco files need to bee in x:\iso……and here i’ve smiling off by game folders….and what not.
many thankx to all the guys that have been replying..
you rock.. and …ohh……a mery x-max
