wireless help

Just picked up a new laptop and it was loaded with vista. I also picked up a
belkin wireless router. For some reason the laptop will connect to the
router but is says local only and will not go out to the internet
. Now if I
click connect to my neighbors everything works fine….. Totally
baffled, tried everything help please. One more thing I have a desktop that
is hardwired to the router and it gets out to the internet with out any
problem…

wireless and vista aren’t the best friends
reset the router by pulling out the power suply for a few seconds and put it back in and then try again

id suggest you to go into the router settings and check if everything is ok on the wireless settings

iv tried to reset the modem and router and checked all my internet settings i don’t see where im going wrong
