How do you rip dvds that have copyrights?
i want to put the dvd in and convert to AVI or something but its not letting me because of copy rights. How do others do it?
What Program do i need to dl

Use DVD Shrink/DVD Decrypter.
If it does not work, which it will, get AnyDVD.

I would use DVD43 and Handbrake.
Kareem was spot on with AnyDVD though, that program will rip anything.

There is a 2 step process. Ripping and encoding.
As the DVD has protection, you need to remove that first. AnyDVD will do this, as will DVDShrink/DVDDecrypter.
Once you have ripped it, the programmes will leave you with .vobs, which then be encoded to xvid/divx or whatever is needed.
