[Solved] Mac External Hard Drive…[Solved]

Are most all external HDs compatible with Mac as well as Windows? Or do you need to get a external HD that is made for Macs?

They all will work with both…You just have to format on MAC or Windows……

A Mac will read/write to a FAT32 formatted drive, but with Paragon NTFS for Mac installed, it will read/write to an NTFS drive just fine.
No need to format it to Mac’s HFS file system.
The drives are physically identical, just formatted differently.
