I have a simple question is there any application that i can use to make the video file into Mp3 files so i can use only the sound!!!!

If you want freeware then you can use Format Factory Total Video Converter is good too

what format is the video you ripping it from ?
you may be able to demux the audio track without converting/re-encoding with AVIdemux or Virtualdubmod

Use any convertor like total video convertor or format factory. Format factory works well with mkv, tvc does not . You can find the softwares here at the forum. Just search

Chances are that the sound is already Mp3 and all you need to do is extract it.
Media Player Classic can do it very easily. On the file menu is Utils and sub menu DSM converter. Select that and then right click in the window that opens and select Add File. Then if you mouse over the audio a tooltip will show the audio format. Right click the audio and select Demux and save it out. If it’s Mp3 then your good to go otherwise you will need to convert to Mp3 using something like LameXP or AudaCity. Audacity beta will import directly from a video file.
