Any opinions will be appreciated.
should get a quad core if you want to do some decent gaming on it
Hm is this one good then?
Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300 Yorkfield 2.5GHz LGA 775 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Model BX80580Q8300
yea that should be fine depends on which games you want to play as well
it should be fine with most it’s mainly up to your GFx card, that will be the deciding factor for the vast majority of the games you can play
You are buying 6gb ram for a duel channel system, that’s not ideal atall. 4gb or 8gb would be recommended.
The whole platform is discontinued now btw, intel will no longer make stuff for lga 775.
Baicly you are looking at buying computer parts that are already out of date. that’s not saying they are not good though. Think now you are better looking at i5>i3 rather than lga775/core 2
Okay so I think I’ll just get an i3 since of budget. how about the motherboards that I chose? Are those good?
Easiest thing to do would be to tell us your budget and let us pick it all. Explaining every little nuance of the build gets tiring very quickly.
