Xilisoft Video Converter works for 2 days, suddenly stops!

I’ve downloaded Xilisoft Video Converter and it worked for couple of days, but today it started to ask me about “registration”. In field “user name” i wrote something like “xyz” and i used keygen to make key, but now programme is rejecting my key (“registration is failed”). I’ve reinstalled it couple of times-still same problem. I’ve downloaded other versions of Xilisoft Video converter-still same problem.
Do you perhaps know how to solve it?

Yeah it’s same problem with me after couple use of times I found the title of the program return to “UNREGISTRED” why this happened if actually he is already accepted the registration from the beginning?!!

I’m encountering the same problem as u and the rest of people in this thread.
Xilisoft Ulitmate is such a powerful converter, and it’s quite sad that I can no longer use it since I dunno a solution. -_-

i always have the same problem it always stops working.. and now on vista i am unable to even reinstall it.. nuthing works on vista…

This is why I use Zone Alarm Pro, and when I set it up I choose the Manual setting. What this does is bug you at the begining for permission for every browser or program that need to update itself over the net and as I set them to always allow the prompts go away. Whats left is a total contol over anything that tries to connect to the net, for updates, registration checks whatever, nothing is allow to connect to the net unless I say OK. Sometimes programs get tricky and will act like they’re Windows Explorer or something and I get the prompt “Windows Explorer is trying to connect to the internet” but just two minutes ago I installed Xilisoft for instance and DUH! I know its not Windows Explorer!
Two things, one is to setup your firewall so no program is given automatic connection to the net, except the firewall itself. And two, as soon as you install a program you can not register or allow to connect to the net, go through its options and turn off all update and register options or set to Never (as Never update ot never register etc.). Sometimes if your firewall does not allow you to stop somethings you can still get away with it by temporarily disconnecting from the internet during the install and then go thru the programs options and turn off all update checks and then connect back to the net. Not all programs will let you do this, as a matter of fact the turn off check mark on alot of programs is nothing, it will stiill check if you don’t block it with your firewall even though you told it not to.

monday 20th october 7-30pm Australian central standard time. I downloaded xilisoft video converter ultimate from this site and have had no trouble with it and I have just clicked install updates and it did and it is still registered. Have on idea what you did wrong but mine works perfectly,

They have stopped millions of us in our tracks. No keygen or crack is now working. been through and installed about 8 different versions. All blacklisted. $45 to get back up and running. Don’t blame them though.

Never use portable apps, moreover if they’re including cracks… 90% of the time they’re bloated with virus/trojan.
You either have to block the update through your firewall (this way the soft won’t update itself… thus never rejecting your key)
Or use another keygen, since they obviously changed their protection scheme.

Now, I install it when I need it
…and by this way I solved the problem forever
By The Way, I don’t need to uninstall it just reboot
