Xbox360 + Firmware Flash + OFFLINE Games = Ban?

September 1st, 2013

Hello.
I have a quick question: I currently own a Xbox360 Slim with a flashed drive. I play ALL my games OFFLINE only and don’t even have a XboxLive Account yet. The new dashboard now offers to download and use Apps on my Xbox360 and I really would like to do that.
My question: If I only play ALL of my games OFFLINE and only log in to XboxLive in order to download/use/upgrade apps do I still need to fear being banned? Or can I only get banned for/while playing games online?
Thanks a lot in advance!

obviously if u go online on ur Xbox 360. They will ask to update it. If u update u won’t be able to play copied games and u will get banned

the new f/w for phat liteons and benq has just been released. U have a Slim xbox which f/w isnt out yet so if u go on live and update new xgd3 games wont work and if u try and play one u will get flagged for a ban, ill suggets waiting for the new f/w to be released for ur drive and then go on live.

Newer games require Dashboard/kernel updates.
In some cases the optical drive firmware gets flashed so your drive becomes somewhat useless.
Its why some guys prefer Jtag/Reset Glitch, optical drive emulators.

The rule is:
Always flash back to stock before updating your dashboard.
