XBOX 360 backup games…..

My buddy has many xbox 360 backup games on disk that he plays on his modded xbox. I have a newly modded xbox 360. Can I make copies of his games and play them on my xbox or does it have to he from an original. I know I need to use dual layer dvd-r disks. Thanks for your help.

Yes you can. To rip backups use imgburn to rip the disc and put it in a .iso for you. Then run it through abgx to make sure it looks good. The just burn it.
If you plan on ripping originals then thats a whole other story. To do that you will need a xbox drive flashed with 0800 firmware and use XBC.

So all I do is pull the image from the DVD, run that image through abgx and burn it to a blank DVD? What is the purpose of running it through abgx if it came from a working backup?
