Wireless HotSpot

My Iphone 2G (don’t laugh) has the worst wireless reception ever upstairs in my house, but well made devices, like my laptop has reception upstairs.
Is there a way to send out a wireless signal that my laptop is reciving so that I can go on the internet around the house.
