I wont to know is it possible to use the wireless and wired network together simultaneously on the same laptop , and each of them is connected to a different network ( actually I wont to connect to internet by using the wireless , and to connect to an internal private network using the wired connection) Note : I am using windows vista

Answer #1
Yes and No.
They can both be enabled but only if connectionX gets terminated you will be able to use connectionY.
So lets say ConnectionX has a max Speeld of 2mb/s and ConnectionY has a max speed of 3mb/s you won’t get 5mb/s but the speed of the connection that you are currently using.
Answer #2
Hi
I wont to use this scenario not to get the speed of both connections
But I wont to be able to connect to different networks Actually what I wont to use this at my work I am working with from a customer premises ( I am working as a communication engineer in mobile vendor , and our customer is a mobile operator) , and I am using the wireless internet connection to connect thought VPN to my company’s internal network , On the same time I can connect to the customer internal networks to be able to do my job So connecting here , then disconnect to connect to the other network , then connecting back , and so on is a wasting a lot of time .
I remember that I was able to connect to both when I was using windows 2000 , but this was from a long time ago , and now on vista I cant do this So is there any way or a tool to make me able to connect to both networks at the same time
Answer #3
You can connect to both @ the same time, but only 1 will be used.
If you are connected to both and you for example disable your wired Ethernet card, it will auto jump to the wireless connection.
