Windows Vista question
August 9th, 2016
I was wondering if Windows Vista already released SP2 (Service Pack 2), I’m not currently looking for pre-release of SP2.

At the moment, I’m really confused. Is this SP2, or just a beta SP2 for tester to check them out?
Thank to whoever reply and help me out.
PS: If you was wondering if I got SP1 then yes I already installed SP1. Just looking for SP2 at this time.
It’s a beta

Wait. Now I’m confused. Is SP2 still in Beta Stage? So should I wait for it to be fully released by Microsoft or is this already released? I don’t want any Beta Service Pack installed on my computer at all.
Please answer my question, is SP2 in beta stage? Like said it’s in beta
it was rtm April 28, on the download center and windows update on May 26

As far as I know, the current SP2 release for Windows Vista is a beta version, but I may be wrong. It is best to wait for the official release, unless you want to test the improvements yourself
wiki says full release a month ago, as does slashdot

I guess I was wrong. Seems like Microsoft released the final version on the 28th of April, and it has already been added to Windows Update
