Windows showing me some fake problems

September 1st, 2013

Hi!
I turned on my computer today, and I can’t do anything. 8 error wiondows pooped up saying “Failed to save all the components for the file \\System32\\xxxxxxxx This file is corrupted or unreadable. This error may be caused by a PC hardware problem.”
Then some weird application opens (in my opinion, pretending like its a Windows built in application, but its not) which is called “System Fix” and it “tries to fix” my computer “problems” (but there are no really any problems). BUT to fix it, it wants me to buy the software.
I can’t view any of my files or anything, so what should I do because I want to save my personal files first before formatting?

Answer #1
Run Malwarebytes in safe mode, the free version will do..

If you can’t download on your PC, download it on another one and then run it from a pen drive.
