Fix the Win7 boot loader and install XP in a VM. You can use the repair function from the windows cd. No need for dual boot these days when you an run OS’s side by side.
Um all i know is if u want dual boot .. u completly format hard drive than 1st install XP than Win7 and u should be able to choose between them when u start ur pc.. U can also try run MSCONFIG
and then set some boot options there!
EasyBCD should be able to help..

Then download a Win7 disk from this forum.
burn it straight away, you’ll never know when your going to need it
Yes U Download win 7 Disk. mount the ISO any virtual program . then write with nero or image burn.
if you want to dual boot
then 1st install XP then install win 7 other drive (remember dnt chose upgrade) install customize. after installing if XP not boot then try this one.

you need .NET Framework to run EasyBCD in XP
you could also try the windows 7 recovery disk,
it’s in apps section and under 300mb (search for “windows 7 Recovery”)
burn & boot it to recovery console/command prompt
boot & Click Repair your computer.
Click Next.
In the System Recovery Options dialog box, click Command Prompt.
then type
BOOTREC /FIXMBR
BOOTREC /FIXBOOT
BOOTREC /REBUILDBCD
(this should find your 7 install and let you add it)
