[Solved] Dual boot Windows 7

well, you make a partition from your C:\ drive with any partition program. for example you have 160GBs free on C:\ you take 10GBs away to make another drive letter such as D:\ E:\ G:\ etc. yes, there’s great risk, actually. a lot of the time your boot loader gets messed up big time during partitioning, and you have to create a new boot menu with a program called EasyBCD which is extremely simple, but annoying to do.

Just install it on a secondary partition(format it or resize it)…..

Bootup may be a problem..

if you have win 7 and install XP then you’ll need to do some configuration so you can get win7 and XP becasue XP won’t see Win7 after install

You’re gonna have to do a repair of Win 7 after installing XP, otherwise it won’t prompt you which windows to load at startup…
its not risky i have done it loads of times with loads of different operating systems
