Win XP password problem

I have a windows xp installed on my laptop (with SATA hdd) which i use it at work; when i use my laptop at work i connect to a network to a domain;
Last night when i was home and wanted to use it after i typed my password it said password incorrect.
I don’t know if there is an administrator account and i don’t have my original windows xp disc from my laptop.
Is there any way to solve this problem at my home without going to work ?
Was it on the correct domain or are you logging on the computer user system?
the domain was the same, like at my workplace…
Try this:
1. Go to safe mode.
2. Click Administrator (This has usually no password).
3. Go to Control panel –> User accounts
4. Change the password of the other account.
5. Restart to Normal mode.
6. Good luck.
