wii backup games, rapidshare, bleh…

May 20th, 2018

right, so.
my wii’s got bootmii and the homebrew channel on it, and i’m planning on running some burned games on it.
i’ve got a tiny bit of experience with this, i play pirated games on the CPU all the time.
my question is:
if i load a PAL game on my wii from a DVDISO, is there a way i can get it to work on my NTSC television?
i assume it’s possible. i need to know what program i use to load backups (via homebrew channel) and i need to know if there is anything i can use to play PAL games with this.
any help is MUCH appreciated.
also:
i don’t feel like paying for a rapidshare account, where can i go about finding one?

First off you can’t use Homebrew channel alone to load backups, its for homebrew software. Backup Launcher 0.3 Gamma could run games burnt onto a DVD and has function of force video standards.

thanks, looked into it a bit. are there any other options? i hoped i wouldn’t have to resort to an unstable release :\

Its stable, pretty darn stable. Though I only use it for IOS 249 games such as House Of The Dead 2&3 Return.
Nowadays Waninkoko’s USB/SD Loader 1.5 does a good job.
I just used an old 3.5 inch IDE hard disk inside a IDE to USB 2.0 encloser and it loads a bit faster than the DVD drive.

You could always go to some forums that reward their hard working members.
Though its tiring and not really worth it, you better just upload to some filehosters and get some cash.
