Why can’t I connect to my router’s WebGUI?
July 26th, 2016
Can someone tell me why I can’t connect to my original router? I disabled DHCP and SSID on my Linksys Router, and also created a Static IP for the link sys IP.

My Guess U needs a Pass to enter ??
ED:
U needs a Pass to get into Netgear settings too If I remember
Guys, I know it’s url, it’s 192.168.1.1 as confirmed using the methods that provided. Well the thing is, when I type in the information, I don’t even get a login info screen, just an webpage error saying, “Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to 192.168.1.1
Did you mean: www.192.168.1.1rr.com”
For my router switch, I am able to easily access the router. And you guys are assuming that my main router from modem is linksys, incorrect, it’s Netgear. Regardless, why isn’t it working?
Your original post is somewhat confusing. What exactly did you do to “convert your WRT54G router to a SWITCH HUB” and is that even relevant to why you can no longer access your Netgear’s http interface?
What is your network topology with all these routers? In other words, how is it all hooked up?
If your Netgear router is not responding to http, have you tried doing a hard reset on it?
Do you mean you have put the Netgear into bridge mode ? If so you will have to connect directly to it by Ethernet cable.
Netgear, you can also use this to get to the config
http://www.routerlogin.net
default login = admin:password

Got this error:

Try reloading: www.routerlogin.net
