Which free anti virus is good?

avg free or avast free or any other for recommended program? i just need something to get rid of a virus i already installed malwarebytes and it found 3 so far scan not finish but i would like to get a virus scanner just incase it is a virus i know that malwarebytes don’t find virus i think. Anyways it is my neighbors pc and he wants me to fix it or which paid anti virus is good.

First off all you should consult yourself with SEARCH option, because we have tons of topics like this one..
Second Avira is probably the best (free ofc) but MSE (Microsoft Security Essentials) is not that bad either…
Third Avira + Malwarebytes in combo are the best!
BTW, in title you ask for FREE Antivirus

yea microsoft security essentials is pretty good… i would recommend that to you… it is free…

Do yourself a favour and just buy bitdefender on ebay for like £7, or another.
The paid ones are better and its only like 7-8 quid a year.
