What Nvidia card should I get?

August 5th, 2016

Hey guys. I was planning on building a custom pc my old one is ~love~ but just so happened I was sent an email from one of Nvidia Some type of director he wanted to use one of my 3d models for display in some new project they are doing I dont know something about 3d viewing only or sharing I dont know but. he told me he would get me any card any Nvidia card of my choice for fee of course he will get my 3d model in exchange
his message

If this is the case, I would be able to compensate you with an NVIDIA Quadro graphics card (K600, K2000, K4000, K5000 or even ... your choice). I would just need a mailing address to send this off.

What should I get?

It would very much depend on your current system, or if you plan to upgrade it, there would be no point grabbing the most expensive card and finding your system (PSU in particular) is not capable of handling it. However you could always grab the most expensive anyway and then sell it on.

My current system is LULZ adm dual core 8gbs lol but for the New one I wanted a 12 core basically I was planning on spending around $5000 for new system so what would be compatible. I can fix that when I buy the motherboard and cpu later. What would be a nice powerful card that would be worth it.

In that case…….GeForce GTX Titan, if he’s offering a Quadro K5000 he shouldn’t baulk at the price of the Titan as it would be cheaper for him.

I was thinking of the K5000 too I dont know how it would compare with other ones thats why I was asking here. Which one would be superior? Looks like the titan is better and has more memory but surprisingly is cheaper? whats the downside?
Answer #5
The benchmark figures for the Titan are far superior to the K5000, to be honest I have problems grasping how Nvidia come up with their prices.

The Quadro series cards are specifically made for 3D modelling and editing, they`re not made for gaming, well ofcourse you could play games with it but that`s not the purpose. They`re made for creating and rendering models and stuff. Which is why ofcourse the gaming cards will get much better performance than the Quadros in games. The Quadros cost more as well I`m not really sure why but like I said they`re a rendering and modeling card which is probably the reason why. So if you go with the Titans you will get great gaming performance but since your a 3D modeler I suggest you get the Quadro.
Answer #7
I see yeah I do a lot of 3d stuff and rendering not really much of a gamer anymore

Might be worth a bit of google time, tbh I wasn’t aware of the K6000.
Answer #9
Quadro cards are not for gaming, they are for pro modelers and renderers only.
EDIT: Lol, did not read through the thread as you can guess.
