Answer #1
Have you updated your Nvidia drivers???
There is no “best” card to play bf3, but 460s in SLI is plenty of power for all games and many games ahead.
Answer #2
yeah, updating the drivers would be the first step
edit: my bad, i suggested 560 ti sli for bf3 but i didnt realize 460s offered about the same performance

You may have to run a game update in order for it to recognize your video card as the game was released before your video card was even made.
Answer #6
run dxdiag and see what that says (winkey+r then enter dxdiag)
the video adapter driver in device mgr look OK ?
You may have to run a game update in order for it to recognize your video card
there any updates to the game ?
you might try this if dxdiag finds all OK
Game crashed on launch – Caused by systemdetection.dll
1. Open the the folder where u installed the game
2. Open the src folder
3. Open the system folder
4. Rename (or delete) the systemdetection.dll file
I’d rename it and save the name just in case you want it back
from

or
any help here www.youtube.com/watch?v=5kAhfGKpqU8

ok i tryed the renameing the (systemdetection.dll ) but it say it cant found it when i lauch the game.
the requirmement log says everything is good except the directx verison . it says 10 but in the dxdiag it says i have 11 directx verison. so im confussed
that youtube video is the same problem im having
i tryed it but no go.
I get a message that says:
ubisoft game launcher error.
Error code 2.
The video adapter in the device manager says its working ok.
The game did some updates for the game and ubisoft game launcher after install.
And thanks for all the replys and help.

the problem was the anti virus appz

i still have to use the workaround that edwoodweb posted
Video Card Not Supported Fix edwoodweb replied: or any help here www.youtube.com/watch?v=5kAhfGKpqU8
steps in running it;
1. game installed
2. i didnot have the ubisoft game launcher installed, but that shouldnot matter if installed or not
3. temporarily disable anti virus protection. i have avg 2012
4. do the workaround that edwoodweb posted
5. play game
restart the game repeat steps 3 and 4.
