web radio tuner

i use vlc player to open the pls file. but i need something a bit better, cause the signal gets lost and i have to wait a while for it to reconnect or restart the software and it is quite annoying. i also need to record some of the shows i listen to, but there is no option available to do that with vlc.
any suggestions of a better software, that might be able to at least record?

well i guess i was a bit hasty when i posted here… anyways here’s a software that i found that works wonders for any guy that might look for the same thing
