Voice (telephone) satellite internet

i use exede satellite internet with voice service, i.e. telephone. is there a method/software that will allow direct faxing. i am aware of online services that provide the service but was curious if the status on that has changed.

Windows Fax and Scan……..But you would have to install a dial up modem in the PC to connect to the telephone line !

, it’s hard to say how i’d get by without your guidance. i have not thought about a hardware fix but i will look into that. this isn’t a do or die sort of thing but it has come up in the past.
