I know you can right click on them but it doesnt change them on all folders.
right click, the take the top option, and click “list”

But that doesnt change all the folders
Click start –> control panel –> folder options
Click on the view tab –> check always show menu –> click apply
open a folder and set it to your view preference and click tools –> folder options –> view –> apply to folders –> click apply then ok. now your folders will open with that default view, you can choose to go back into the CP and shut the menu back off.
