Virgin Superhub Ethernet Problem

Ive moved my pc today to another room and have always connected with an ethernet cable So drilled a hole in the wall to put my 20m cable into the other room
Stapled it to the skirting board nd had it working with no issues up until a few hours ago
I came back to my pc and noticed that ive lost connection to the hub
Im on my phone at the moment and tge wireless works fine just dont understand. Whats up with it when it was ok before

when i set up my sky hub i had same problem wireless worked fine on phone and laptop but i had to set up a home network on win xp to get ethernet to work on tower pc

Well basics first did you cut the cable or is it sealed with jacks pre fitted. When you say you lost the connection do you mean the physical connection or can you just not browse the internet

The cable was not cut i did staple it once but it still worked afterwards i lost whole connection to the network

I think it was just some maintenance and you lost the connection..
I had the same thing judging from the date you posted..
I woke up and the connection was working again..

It was a faulty ethernet cable had to buy a new one
