Video Editing Software Side by Side Bulletin Points

Anyone know what can help me show a video side by side? But on one side I want to display bulletin points while the person is talking? Any software that can help me do this that isn’t extremely hard to learn?
I use iMovie right now on Mac.

Have never use it on the mac; there is a version for it though.
