Using one software license on many computers

January 28th, 2020

Hello.
I have a small business and am looking to purchase an expensive software which is limited to being used on one PC. Is there a way i can get 2 or other 3 PC’s to access the same software on their machines although its only installed on the 1 PC?
Thank you for your assistance.

Technically, It can be done via a remote control app (Remote Desktop, Teamviewer) but only one person would be able to work on it at a time! Could you be more specific about this particular software?

Thank you for the response Roberto. The software I want to use is Quickbooks for accounting. When my accountant goes on leave i have trained another staff to handle some of his work. I would like to train a second person too but dont want to spend on buying the software again. Can I install this software on one PC or server but use it on another PC?

if that software doesn’t do online key verification, then you should be able to use them on other pc.

Well my dad has a business of his own and ran into the same problem you did. What I did was finding a hacked version of the Remote Desktop DLL, and applying it. Using this DLL file you can have more than one Remote Desktop session on one PC. It might not work perfectly in combination with Quickbook, but that’s for you to try.
The DLL file can be found on the following link:
