I think u cant. When you Put Subtitle separately its not work on TV. its works on PC with any player.
i think that the subtitles should be in .SRT format not .SUB format
I have try to change subtitle format and i have try to make same name of subtitle file like a movie avi file but still nothing Btw tv model is lg infinia 42le8500 107 cm if that help anything

srt sub txt doesn’t matter most dvd players will see it!You only have to name the subtitle exactly as the avi file(without the extension) & it will see it!
