got to device manager and see if you see any yellow exclamation signs next to your usb devices
if you do right click on them (have the cd in your cd drive) then choose update driver
at the next screen choose search cdrom drive and it will search and install it hopefully

duz installing the card add more USB devices ? it should
got another PCI slot ?
Answer #5
Yeah I have you recommend installing it in other PCI ?
By the way I did a BIOS test I did in the part that says USB Controls disabled and that enabled me other oprions like USB 2.0 by the way there’s other option that always been enabled that says USB 2.0 (Enabled) beside the one that I get when Disabling USB controler or oprion I restarted and looks like Vista detected new PCI USB (4) installing ports but the thing is that they are still unable to use and making that change in BIOS disabled me all USB ports even the ones that worked fine since that change.
Answer #6
your BIOS should have nothing to do with the card
and any USB cards I have installed on XP have not needed extra drivers, not sure about vista
you sure the card is good ? brand new ?
got another PC to try it in ?
