USB Flash drive no longer recognized….sort of?

For some reason my flash drives were no longer recognized. In device manager I uninstalled the drivers and rebooted but still did not solve the problem. So I tried disable “Standard Host Controllers” and plug the flash drives back in and now they are recognized. When I turn the pc off and back on they are not recognized unless I remove the flash drive and plug it back in. Whats causing all of this?

Is this a single FD or multiple? It’s kinda hard to tell from the way you put it.
Anyways, It’s probably an OS issue, Try using system restore.
