Two different audio on two different audio devices?possible?

October 8th, 2013

hey guys can I play two different audio files and get those two different audios out on two different audio out put devices for eg, one is a headphone and the other is 2 piece speaker.(my headphone is already connected to the green colored audio out port port)
for more clarification let just say i play game and i want that audio to come out of
my headphone and i also want to play mp3/flvs files using either vlc or mpc and i want that audio to come out of my speakers.or maybe just two different mp3 files on two different audio players(vlc and mpc) and i want the audios come separately one on headphone and one on speakes.not both audio in the
headphone or speaker.
is this possible?if so then which audio port i plug my speakers to ?there are five ports that are not used eg. rear,side,c/sub,Mic, and one port with blue color around it without any writing on it.
so guys tell me what software i need to do this and also to what out put port i plug my second audio device speaker to?
btw my montherboard is gigabyte h55 usb 3 with realtek built in sound card.
Realtek ALC889 codec
High Definition Audio
2/4/5.1/7.1-channel
Support for Dolby® Home Theater
Support for S/PDIF In/Out
Support for CD In
I am using XP and Windows 7 dual boot so solution for both os is welcome but XP is more welcome as i use it most.
btw guys pls give detailed answer if possible.
thanks for reading

You just need to select your audio device in the program you want to change.
I have my game sounds & music going through speakers in the rear.
And all communications, like skype & vent go through my headphones.

I know when i use WIndows media player i can do this.
tools>Options>Devices>Speakers set as rear speakers.
Then i set Normal windows Speakers to my headphones.
