Transfering C: drive to a new hard drive?

January 22nd, 2020

Anyone know the best way to tranfer C: drive to a new hard drive? I don’t want to have to reinstall C: drive on the new drive. Is there some process or program that can allow me to seamlessly transfer C: drive to the new drive without any problems? BTW: I have WinXP Pro and lots of programs installed on it. Also, the capacity of the new drive is a bit larger.

mm… connect the new hard drive too and use some disk clone tools inside the “Hiren’s Boot CD”
that will do what you want.
ask any doubt you have

just search on forum for drive image or disc clone some image progs will replicate the drive in the same size leaving unalocated space on the new drive use a partition manager to expand the new partition over th unalocated space
