Thinapp – stopping the launching notification

January 21st, 2020

Hi,
I’ve created a portable app using thinapp – thing is, I’m not too happy having that little notification coming up in the corner telling me what’s launching and who it’s licensed to. Anybody know if there is some config option I’m missing to stop that.
Thank you.
Edit: Got it sorted – had to mod the exe slightly…

Sure man, open Log Monitor, choose open, go to the directory of VMWare ThinApp, type in *.* then edit main.bmp

I actually think the thing in the corner is annoying too. Is it possible that you can explain what you said in English?

Forigve me for the necropost, but I figure someone might actually want to know the answer to this.
In recent versions of ThinApp you can hide the popup notification by adding the undocumented parameter ".ShowSB=0" to the "[BuildOptions]" section of Package.ini.
